For years, I wrestled with betrayal. Not the loud kind—the quiet kind. Fraud that wore a friendly face. Injustice that whispered, “Don’t make waves.”
I tried to make sense of the lies others told—about me, about themselves, about what they claimed to offer. I wanted to believe people meant well. I wanted to give grace. But grace without discernment becomes a trap.
And so I learned: Truth isn’t always loud. Sometimes it arrives in silence—after the fog lifts, after the mask slips, after the ache becomes too familiar to ignore.
That moment? It’s sacred. Not because it feels good—but because it sets you free.
🔍 What Truth Revealed to Me
- That not everyone who smiles is safe
- That discernment is not judgment—it’s protection
- That my story matters, even when others try to rewrite it
- That silence can be holy, but hiding is not healing
🛡️ Why I Share This Now
Because someone out there is still in the fog. Still trying to make sense of the betrayal. Still wondering if their pain is valid.
It is.
And the truth? It doesn’t shame you. It frees you.I don’t write this for applause. I write it because God gave me a voice—and I refuse to let fraud, fear, or falsehood silence it. The truth is mine. And now, it’s yours too.
Psalm 119:105 — “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” When the fog of betrayal clouds your way, God’s truth cuts through. His Word doesn’t just expose—it illuminates.
