Don’t let the judgment of others rule your mindset or taint what you feel in your heart. People will always have opinions, but they don’t get to decide your direction. Every one of us is guided toward a path — but we still have to choose whether we walk it.
The narrow path isn’t always easy, but it leads to the best kind of life. The wide path, the one everyone else seems to be on, usually leads to destruction. Scripture has been telling us this for generations, and deep down, our intuition confirms it.
Intuition is part of that guidance. It’s the quiet voice inside you that speaks long before life starts shouting. Sometimes something looks impossible or out of reach. Sometimes you feel like you won’t be able to do it. But you’ll never know unless you try. You have to let your guard down sometimes if you want to move forward in life.
It’s like that old saying: If your friends jumped off a bridge, would you jump too. But what if your friends were all tethered to a bungee cord? Would you jump then, knowing that even if you fell, you’d bounce back. And yet — there’s always that thought: What if the cord breaks.
That’s where intuition comes in. That’s where you pause and ask, What is God telling me to feel right now. You might have a safety tether. You might have support. But you still have to ask yourself, Is this something I’m truly meant to do.
Listening to your intuition is an act of self-respect. It’s choosing to trust the wisdom you’ve earned. It’s choosing to trust the Spirit that moves quietly but clearly. And it’s choosing to trust that your life is worth steering with intention, not fear.
When something feels off, pay attention. When something feels true, honor it. God placed that compass inside you for a reason.
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life.” — Matthew 7:13–14
