There comes a time in every journey when the light feels distant and the shadows loom large. Yet it is in those very shadows that resilience is forged. To face the darkness is not to surrender, but to acknowledge its presence and choose courage anyway.

The shadows remind us of our humanity—our struggles, doubts, and fears. But they also reveal the strength we carry within. Each step forward, no matter how small, is a declaration that the shadows cannot define us.

Faith teaches us that even in the deepest valleys, light is never absent. It waits patiently, ready to break through when we lift our eyes and keep moving. Facing the shadows is not about erasing them—it’s about walking through them with hope, knowing they cannot last forever.

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” — Psalm 23:4
