Life doesn’t always show you what’s coming. You can’t predict the future, and you can’t rewrite the past. But every single day you wake up with the understanding that you’re worth something — that alone is progress. Even if you didn’t finish everything you planned, you’re still moving forward. And sometimes that small bit of self‑confidence is enough to carry you a long way.

There will always be people who try to slow you down. Life will throw speed bumps, detours, and roadblocks in your path. But none of that has the power to stop you unless you hand it the keys. Your dreams matter. Your purpose matters. You can become whoever you’re called to be — one step at a time, one day at a time, one minute, even one second at a time.

Setting goals isn’t always easy. That’s why you have to slow down sometimes. Sit in the silence. Let everything settle. Let God speak to you in that quiet place. I always stress the importance of that one‑on‑one relationship with Him — not religion, not routine, but relationship. You don’t need a building to know God. You just need to know the God within you: the One who gives discernment, the One who guides your steps, the One who wants good for you, the One who is unconditional love.

I believe with everything in me that we can all become who we’re meant to be. When we focus. When we set goals. When we listen in the silence. When we meditate, pray, breathe, and get honest with ourselves. Find a quiet space away from the noise. Take a pen and paper. Write down your goals. Write down your vision. Write down who you want to become.

We’ve learned these tools throughout life — in programs, in school, in hard seasons, in moments where we had no choice but to grow. The truth is, everything you need is already inside you. Sometimes we just forget it’s there.

So remember. Remember who you are. Remember your worth. Remember that God’s love is unconditional. And remember that we are stronger together than we will ever be alone. Written by. Kristofer Krumholtz
