Important Message to My Readers

I need to step off topic for a moment because something serious has been happening. Recently, while using Microsoft Copilot, I came across references to nonprofits I’ve never had any connection with—names like Light of Hope and Hope Rising. I don’t know these organizations, yet they appeared as if they were tied to my work. If anyone is trying to take credit for my book or my testimony, that’s not right and it needs to stop.

On top of that, I’ve been dealing with what looks like identity theft. Just this morning, a $549 charge showed up on my PayPal account that I did not authorize. I’ve tried reaching out to my local police department, but they haven’t taken me seriously. Instead of helping, they gave me a fake email address, leaving me without support even though I have stacks of evidence.

I want my readers to know: if you don’t hear from me for a few days, it’s only because I’m working to sort this out. I’m not slowing down because of lack of will—I’m slowing down because I’m trying to protect my work, my name, and my legacy. I’ve always written to help others, and I’ll continue to do so, but right now I need to make sure my identity and testimony are safeguarded.
